STRENGTH VS CARDIO
In my opinion strength is key.
All the other elements of health and fitness have their place and are just as important. Although, When it comes to physical performance in and out the gym strength is number one. When we are training strength we are training our basic human movement patterns and the more confident you are with these exercises the more output you’ll have inside the gym which means you will progress a lot quicker. Having alean strong body, means you will perform better, have a better physique and find it easier to burn body fat and keep it off long term.
Having a ‘better physique’ does not mean having six pack abs or a phat ass, but we should be able to look in the mirror and feel good naked.
I believe when you look good, you feel good and you do great things. This will motivate you in more more ways than one and will have a roll on effect into your everyday life.
Find a structured strength program, stick to it weekly and decorate that program with all the cardio you love to do!
