LACKING ENERGY? STRESSED?

LACKING ENERGY? STRESSED?

Have you ever used the excuse that you are too tired/stressed to exercise ? Read on..👇

Did you know there is something that is produced in the body called mitochondria. In simple terms, it is a part of a cell and its main role is to produce energy for us to use.

The more exercise we do the more the body will produce in order to meet our daily requirements of energy. Crazy right?

So how the Fark can we have the excuse of no energy?

Our lifestyle plays a big part in our energy levels.

Some things we could look at and change instantly if we value our health and fitness.

Sleep – are you getting enough quality sleep or on your socials scrolling looking for the next quick fix. Put the phone down and give your self the best chance for the next day.

Nutrition – are you eating and fuelling well majority of the time?

We can have a few cheeky snacks or a few wines with the crew. But our main food source should come from nutrient dense whole foods. Proteins, good fats and carbohydrates. Think of food as your fuel and you are the top of the range Rolls-farking-Royce!

You should be drinking at least 2.5-3L of water daily.

Limit your stimulants, everyone is different here.

Added sugars – eating too many added sugars often causes us to have a sudden crash of energy.

When we have too many sugars we produce a lot more insulin in the body, it sucks up all the sugar as this is a fast energy source. Soon enough it runs out of sugar to suck up, and starts to take away the carbs/sugars that are feeding your brain. This is what causes that brain fog on top of that nasty energy dump.

*its funny we seem to be the only species on earth that will continually eat food that makes us feel like shit. Take a dog for example, if they eat food that makes them feel crap they’ll never eat it again. Humans, eat food, feel like shit, the next weekend do it again. INSANITY?

Stress – how do you manage stress?. There are so many different types of stress, all very taxing on the body.

GUESS WHAT!
